Earlobe Repair

A split earlobe or near-split earlobe are common occurrences. A small, direct surgical correction is easily performed using local anesthesia in an office-based setting. The corrected ear should appear normal and unoperated. Sutures are removed between days 6-7. The ear can be pierced again once the wound is healed.
